I was convicted of a Los Angeles DUI in April of 2012. How long must I have an SR22 on file to get my license?

California law if clear that anytime your driving privileges in California are suspended for DUI the DMV required that you keep n SR-22 on file to get your right to drive back. An SR-22 is a document required as proof of financial responsibility by the court or the DMV law for persons convicted of certain traffic offenses, including drunk driving (DUI).   You will need to keep on on file three (3) years or your license will again be suspended.
